- [en] LCI: Lowest Concentration of Interest - The LCI concept was first developed by the European Collaborative Action on Indoor Air Quality and its Impact on Man when considering the best way to evaluate emissions from solid flooring materials. It was defined (see ECA Report No.18, 1997) as the lowest concentration above which, according to best professional judgement, the pollutant may have some effect on people in the indoor environment.
