Á grundvelli spáa um eftirspurn eftir lífeldsneyti, sem aðildarríkin leggja fram, og mats á losun vegna óbeinna breytinga á landnýtingu fyrir mismunandi lífeldsneytishráefni er líklegt að losun gróðurhúsalofttegunda, sem tengist óbeinum breytingum á landnýtingu, sé veruleg og gæti ónýtt hluta af eða alla minnkun á losun gróðurhúsalofttegunda vegna einstakra tegunda lífeldsneytis.
