Enn fremur hafa sumir flokkunarfræðilegir plöntuhópar, sem áður töldust vera undirtegundir tiltekinna tegunda, nú verið flokkaðir sem sjálfstæðar tegundir. Breyta skal tilskipunum 66/401/EBE og 66/402/EBE til samræmis við þessa nýju flokkun.
